High Frequency Inverters

We offer 3 categories of inverters with different form factors, power and speed.

The ACO5000 operates up to 5000Hz in different versions supporting maximal nominal current from 5A to 30A.

The K4000 is perfect for application requiring frequencies up to 4000Hz and nominal current from 40A to 50A.

The high frequency converter R8000 is suitable for application up to 4000 Hz. This  familiy of drives covers a wide range of power ratings from 5 to 120 kV. The Selective Harmonic Suppression SHS is a motor friendly modulation aimed at reducing motor losses without the need of output filters.
The user interface TL5 can be integrated in the front of the drive or delivered as a remote control. The drive integrates a RS232-/422 serial interface. Windows based control software is also available.

ACO5000

Modular concept

  • PAM Pulse Amplitude Modulation - a technology with regulated intermediate DC bus
  • SHS Modulation - Selective Harmonic Suppression modulation

  • Can be operated via Terminal Block, dedicated KeyPad or PROFIBUS

Power supply module

  • Input voltage 200 – 480 VAC, +10 % / -15 %, 50/60 Hz
  • DC power output max 36A/45A
  • Power IN connector to the bottom
  • Integrated dynamic braking resistor
  • Possibility to add an external braking resistor module
  • 24 V DC, auxiliary power input supplied by customer, 2 to 4A depending of the number of axis
  • USB port, internally interconnected to the drive(s)
  • RS485 port dedicated to remote KeyPad

Power Drive Module

  • Internal connections to the power module
  • Motor power OUT connect to the bottom
  • Plugable screw terminals see "Control terminals description"
  • All "Control terminals" are opto-insulated
  • PROFIBUS port (optional)
  • Sensor feedback connector (not compulsory to drive a motor)
  • 7 segments status display
  • 5 Power ratings: 5, 8, 12, 20 and 30A, 2 physical sizes
  • Max output frequency 5000 Hz

External braking resistor module

  • Same dimensions as the power supply module
  • Internal connection to the power supply module
  • Used when full braking power is required

Multi-axis configurations

TAny combination up to 4 axis so far the total current needed at a time does not exceed 36 A current. That means the system can have maximum 6 modules with a width of 426mm (i.e. 6*71 mm plus 3 mm backplate), as follow:

  • 1 power module
  • 1 External braking resistor module
  • 4 small drives, or 2 small and one large, or 2 large ones

K4000 series

Typical applications: high speed grinding and drilling

  • Suitable to drive asynchronous motors
  • Two real time programmable analog outputs, 6 internal parameters to be allocated
  • Five programmable digital outputs, potential free switching contact
  • Storage of 64 independent motor parameter groups, including:
    • U/F characteristic (up to 32 points each)
    • acceleration and deceleration time
    • current limitation
    • DC braking current
    • preset speeds
    • prohibited frequencies
    • RI and slip compensation etc…
  • Access to motor parameters protected by password
  • Protected access to operating parameter's setting
  • Three gap eliminator processes, each with 4 programmable sensitivity level
  • Windows based Software
  • PROFIBUS on request
  • Input voltage for all types 3 x 200 V to 3 x 480 V, auto-ranging, no input transformer
  • Output voltage VRMS : 0 … Uin, max. 3 x 460 V
  • Output frequency 0 … 4000 Hz
  • Permanent output current 120%; overload current 150% for 1 min
  • Short-circuit proof
  • IP20 for wall mounting unit, IP54for cabinet
